Showtec - Octostrip Driver

The Showtec Octostrip Driver has been designed to efficiently control Octostrip MKII bars in a variety of configurations, whether for a fixed installation, a TV set or a more traditional stage. This controller provides both DMX and Art-Net communication, making it easy to integrate into modern lighting networks. In particular, the addition of Art-Net simplifies work when using multi-channel configurations, such as the 192 CH mode, which gives access to full RGB control of each LED section.

The box also provides built-in programmes and pre-configured effects, updated from the previous generation. These internal modes allow you to quickly achieve smooth animation by simply choosing the DMX mode you want from the many options available: 6, 8, 14, 26, 50, 192 or 208 channels. This gives access to a range of possibilities for adapting the visual response to each context, from simple linear effects to more precise sequencing over several segments.

Configuration is via a front-panel LCD display, making on-site adjustments easy. Convection cooling ensures quiet operation, an advantage in sensitive environments such as studios or acoustic events. The unit features Power Pro Blue and Grey connectors for daisy-chaining power, as well as mounting options suitable for clamps and quick-release fasteners.
