The Shure ANX4 4-channel licence is designed to meet the modular logic of the ANX4 receiver, a piece of equipment designed to evolve according to the number of channels required in an RF installation.
As the ANX4 has no active channels when delivered, this licence is essential to activate four operational channels, whether you are working in Axient Digital or ULX-D mode. Activation is done directly from a ShureCloud account, making the process fast, reliable and easy to administer across multiple sites or roaming configurations.
This approach offers great flexibility: for example, a service provider can temporarily allocate its licences to an ANX4 unit dedicated to an event, and then transfer them to another unit for a new project. As the licence is perpetual, it guarantees a lasting investment with no recurring costs.
Combined with the RF and audio performance of the Axient Digital and ULX-D systems, which have become benchmarks on sets, stages, tours and installations, this makes the ANX4 a powerful platform for concentrating a large number of channels in a 1U rack, while simplifying antenna management thanks to an architecture designed for dense deployments.
The ANX4 supports up to 16 Axient Digital or 24 ULX-D channels, and the progressive addition of licences such as this one means that capacity can be tailored precisely to current needs.
The whole system can be fully supervised via Wireless Workbench, and Dante/AES67 network functions are immediately available as soon as the channels are activated. This licence therefore fits naturally into the Shure professional ecosystem, where flexibility, channel density and reliability are essential.
