Softube - Console 1 Compact

The Softube Console 1 Compact has been developed for musicians, producers and sound engineers who want the speed and musicality of an analogue workflow without sacrificing studio space. This compact control surface features 16 Analog Feel™ touch-sensitive knobs combined with a high-definition display for viewing EQ curves, VU levels, gain reduction and track information in real time.

At the heart of the system is the Console 1 Core Mixing Suite, a comprehensive set of processing tools covering all the essential stages of mixing. The software includes modern and vintage preamp models, filters up to 48dB, dynamic shaping tools, two complementary EQs and three types of compressors adapted to different mixing situations. This architecture makes it possible to quickly build coherent processing chains while maintaining excellent sound quality.

One of the great strengths of the Console 1 Compact is its ergonomic organisation. The Shape, EQ and Compressor sections each have dual functions, allowing advanced processing to be carried out without the need for multiple operations. Combined with the integrated DAW control functions, the system encourages more intuitive mixing where listening takes over from looking. Compatible with the other products in the Softube Console 1 ecosystem, it also provides an excellent basis for gradually building up a complete mixing station.
