SSL - UF8
The SSL UF8 is a sophisticated control surface, ideal for audio professionals looking to maximise their efficiency in the studio. Featuring eight precision faders, rotary encoders and colour screens, this unit provides intuitive and flexible control of all aspects of audio mixing. Compatible with a wide range of DAWs, UF8 enhances user interaction with customised workflows and advanced connectivity options, including USB-C. Presentation
The UF8's body is constructed entirely from metal, with a brushed and anodised top plate, ensuring durability and a refined aesthetic. It is equipped with eight 100mm touch-sensitive faders that provide a precise and pleasant response for audio mixing.
Each fader is accompanied by an endless rotary encoder and three high-resolution colour screens that display key parameters for immediate and detailed visual monitoring.
With 43 fully customisable keys in five banks, plus three quick keys, the UF8 allows users to configure their control surface to their specific needs, optimising mixing and production sessions.
The intelligent CHANNEL encoder offers versatile handling, capable of controlling a multitude of DAW parameters.
The UF8 is compatible with all major DAWs via HUI or MCU protocols, offering plug-and-play models for Ableton Live, Cubase/Nuendo, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Studio One, LUNA, and Pyramix. This compatibility ensures seamless integration and direct manipulation of software functions.
Additional features include the ability to switch control between three DAWs connected simultaneously, Hi-Speed USB connectivity via a USB-C connector, and a USB-A port for daisy-chaining UF8 units or connecting USB dongles such as iLok or e-Licenser.
