Folk Electro Acoustic Guitar
The Taylor 814ce Next Generation guitar is equally at home in fingerstyle or strumming, with a Grand Auditorium format designed to allow you to move from one style to another without constraint. Its Sitka spruce top, combined with Indian rosewood, produces a clear, detailed and balanced sound, with deep bass and strong overtones. When played live, the Claria system gives a natural, easy-to-adjust amplified sound, while the Taylor hard case secures the instrument between two journeys.

Presentation
The Taylor 814ce Next Generation guitar is for musicians looking for an instrument capable of covering a wide range of musical territory with comfort and precision. Its Grand Auditorium format remains one of the most versatile, making it ideal for accompaniment, solo playing or more modern arrangements.
The Sitka spruce top provides a fast response and a wide dynamic range, useful for expressing every nuance of your playing. The Indian rosewood back and sides add depth to the bass and texture to the chords. This sound base remains legible, even when your playing becomes denser or more energetic.
Inside, the Scalloped V-Class bracing increases the overall volume and extends the sustain of the notes throughout the neck. Chords are more stable and melodic lines remain well defined, even in high positions.
The neo-tropical mahogany neck features the Action Control Neck system, which makes it easy to adjust the string height to suit your touch. So you can adapt the action to your style without having to do a lot of work. The Crelicam ebony fingerboard from West Africa feels fluid under the fingers and is stable over time. The Venetian notch makes access to high notes more natural for solo passages or complex arrangements.
In terms of amplification, the Claria system uses a piezo system under the redesigned saddle to deliver a consistent sound that can be used live. Controls in the soundhole allow the midrange contour to be adjusted during a performance, without interrupting the playing.
Finishes such as the rosewood armrest, maple binding and high-gloss varnish add to the instrument's comfort and overall aesthetic appeal. The instrument comes in a Taylor Deluxe hard case, ready to follow you to your studio sessions, rehearsals and concerts!
