Technics - Pack SL-1200M7G GOLD + Cellule Dj et HIFI

The Technics SL-1200M7G Gold Edition celebrates the series’ 55th anniversary with a gold finish, a plate bearing an engraved serial number, and a matching cartridge holder and felt mat. This model thus asserts its own unique character.

Its direct-drive system powers a 332 mm die-cast aluminium platter weighing 1.8 kg. The adjustable starting torque, ranging from 2.2 to 4.5 kg/cm, allows the turntable to reach 33 rpm in just 0.7 seconds, with tracking error and jitter limited to 0.025 per cent W.R.M.S. Speeds of 45 and 78 rpm complete this precise operation.

The 230 mm statically balanced tonearm offers precise adjustment with a 15 mm overhang and a 22° offset angle. Its height is adjustable from 0 to 6 mm, whilst the tracking force can be adjusted directly from 0 to 4 g. The 7.6 g cartridge holder, featuring a four-pin connector, completes this system designed for fine-tuning.

The Ortofon Concorde MKII Elite builds on this precision with an MM cartridge designed for both DJing and hi-fi. Weighing 18.5 g and with an output level of 8.5 mV, it utilises a solid-cut elliptical nude diamond to cover the frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Channel separation reaches 25 dB at 1 kHz, with a recommended tracking force of 3 g, adjustable between 2 and 4 g.

The RCA phono output and ground terminal ensure a direct connection to your hi-fi system, whilst the 110–240 V power supply makes installation straightforward. The dust cover protects the turntable between plays, and the EP adaptor and the supplied cables mean you can get started straight away. All that’s left to do is choose your first record.
