The Technics SL-1200M7G Black embodies the performance-oriented DNA of the SL-1200 series, enhanced with premium gold-coloured detailing for this limited-edition anniversary model. Fitted with a coreless direct-drive motor, a professional S-shaped tonearm and a heavy die-cast aluminium platter, it offers three speeds (33⅓, 45, 78 rpm), adjustable pitch of ±8%/±16% and ultra-low wow and flutter of 0.025% WRMS. Cartridge not included.
Presentation
Technically, the turntable makes no compromises; its Technics coreless direct-drive motor delivers high starting torque, ranging from 2.2 to 4.5 kg/cm, for a start-up time of just 0.7 seconds. Playback accuracy is guaranteed by exceptionally low wow and flutter, at 0.025% WRMS, as well as by a professional, height-adjustable S-shaped tonearm.
The die-cast aluminium platter provides the mass required for stable rotation, whilst its wide compatibility with DJ and hi-fi cartridges allows for complete customisation. Comprehensive and well-finished, this turntable comes with all the accessories needed for installation, with the exception of the cartridge, which is sold separately.
