The Technics SL-1200M7G BLUE celebrates its 55th anniversary with a blue finish and gold accents. This direct-drive turntable features a coreless motor, a professional S-shaped tonearm, a heavy die-cast aluminium platter and ±8 per cent/±16 per cent pitch control. Its three speeds – 33⅓, 45 and 78 rpm – high torque and dedicated RCA phono output round off the package.

The Technics core-less direct-drive motor is one of the central components of this turntable. It is paired with a heavy die-cast aluminium platter, designed to ensure stable rotation. The professional S-shaped tonearm features height adjustment and precise tracking.
The speed control offers adjustable pitch control of ±8 per cent and ±16 per cent. The turntable supports speeds of 33⅓, 45 and 78 rpm. Its starting torque of 2.2 to 4.5 kg/cm allows it to reach playing speed in just 0.7 seconds, whilst wow and flutter is rated at 0.025 per cent WRMS.
A dedicated RCA phono output and a ground terminal provide the connection. The equipment supplied includes the dust cover, felt mat, slip sheet, mounting hardware, cables and accessories. The cartridge must be purchased separately.
