The Thermionic Culture EarlyBird 2.2 is a 2-channel, EQ-equipped tube microphone preamplifier with a symmetrical push-pull circuit. The Earlybird 2.2 contains two very high quality preamp channels. The circuit design utilizes Class A push-pull type amplification to provide a clean end gain, resulting in the lowest possible noise and distortion values in a microphone preamp. This Earlybird preamp version also includes additional features such as 3 active equalizer bands, switchable mid frequencies and high pass filters, as well as a function switch to help interface the unit in different scenarios.
