Some microphones have incredible character, but need a little help to reveal their full potential. That's exactly where the MIC PRE 07 comes in. This microphone preamplifier has been designed as a simple, discreet and effective tool, capable of providing clean, stable gain where standard preamps sometimes show their limits, particularly with less sensitive dynamic microphones or ribbon microphones.

As soon as it is inserted into the audio chain, the MIC PRE 07 acts as a real revealer. It reinforces the signal upstream, without distorting it, preserving the natural dynamics of the source and the clean grain of the microphone used. Vocals become more legible, instrument pick-ups become clearer, and the signal reaches the interface or console at a comfortable level, without having to push the downstream gains excessively.

Its design is based on a fixed 29dB amplification, ideal for situations where you want to improve the signal-to-noise ratio without complicating the setup. The 3-pin XLR input and output allow direct integration into any professional configuration, whether in a studio, home studio or mobile miking system.

The MIC PRE 07 works with the 48 V phantom power supplied by the console or interface, while remaining perfectly suited to microphones that don't require it, such as dynamics or ribbons. Its wide frequency response ensures faithful reproduction, without excessive coloration, with well-maintained bass and open treble.
