The AC30S1 focuses on the unique sound of the 'Top Boost' channel, which is naturally regarded as the signature sound of the AC30. It uses a full tube setup, with two 12AX7 tubes in the preamp and four EL84 tubes in the power amp, for every nuance of the Top Boost channel's sonic character, from clean sparkle to fat overdrive.
The AC30S1 provides the necessary scalability to suit the varied playing styles of today's guitarists. The effects loop and its send and return connectors allow convenient connection of external effects. There's also an output for an external loudspeaker, so you can connect an external speaker for more dispersion. The effects section has been given a facelift with the addition of a digital reverb.
