The VFZ-1 adjusts its behaviour thanks to 2 carefully calibrated silicon transistors, as this duo harmonises the grain to stabilise saturation while preserving a lively response that reacts strongly to attack, creating a supple sonic terrain that will follow the dynamics of your playing with surprising regularity.
You benefit from a remarkably low noise level, because the design studied by Vox makes it possible to use the pedal with complex set-ups without generating any annoying hiss, giving you a great deal of latitude when exploring thicker or thinner textures while preserving a clean, stable signal that's ready to plunge into varied ambiences without any obvious technical constraints.
The Bass Cut control is capable of transforming your approach. This control retains some of the bass before the gain stage, allowing you to clarify a busy chord, balance a neck pickup or enhance the legibility of a dense riff, creating a surprisingly flexible feel that will encourage you to sculpt your tone without changing the way you attack your strings.
