The VX2 has a USB port for connecting to your PC or Mac. It comes with a license to download the free modeling software JamVox III. It is ASIO-compatible to be used with JamVox III or any ASIO-compatible DAW. It has a "monitor" mode that turns into a real monitor for home studio.

Today, with VXI and VXII, VOX launches a new modeling technique that provides a significantly improved and more authentic. VOX modeling leads to a higher level.
When VOX began developing VX, one of the premises was that conventional modeling methods had been exhausted. For better sound, it was necessary to develop a new technique: TEV (Virtual Element Technology). The latter meticulously models the circuits and electronic components of an amp. By proceeding in this way, modeling obtained is clearer, more articulate and closer to the original amp. To go even further, VOX has also redesigned the construction of the amp itself by choosing a sealed ABS enclosure in one piece, which improves sound quality and performance of VX.
