Designed to work in perfect harmony with the Waves eMotion LV1 console, it offers 16 mic/line inputs and 12 analog outputs, ensuring ideal flexibility for demanding sound engineers and artists. This 2U rack-mountable stagebox is designed for touring and production environments requiring uncompromising audio quality.
At the heart of the IONIC 16 are Waves Signature preamps, specially designed to deliver exceptional dynamics and ultra-fast transient response. Unlike standard preamps, these discrete circuits allow for total sonic transparency or to add analog warmth via the HMX harmonic modeling option, which can be activated independently on each channel.
Input impedance is also selectable between 2kΩ (classic) and 7kΩ (modern) to optimize microphone response and capture every nuance with precision.
The IONIC 16’s intuitive interface makes it easy to integrate into any SoundGrid system. Thanks to its 1Gb Ethernet connection, it communicates instantly with the eMotion LV1 console, allowing you to control preamps and outputs directly from the mixer. This seamless workflow reduces setup time and maximizes live efficiency.
The IONIC 16 doesn’t just excel at input, it also delivers crystal-clear audio output thanks to its high-precision converters and 12 analog outputs, selectable between +18 dBu and +24 dBu. Whether you’re feeding stage monitors, in-ear systems or a PA, it guarantees optimal dynamics and headroom.
