Waves - eMotion LV1 Control

The Waves eMotion LV1 Control has been designed to complement the Waves eMotion LV1 live mixing systems by providing a true physical control surface for professional touring, broadcast and live performance environments. This extension gives sound engineers a more tactile and fluid approach to mixing, while retaining the flexibility of the LV1 ecosystem.

Based on the same architecture as the LV1 Classic console, this surface features 17 motorised 100mm Alps faders combined with 17 precision encoders and 17 mini LCD screens displaying channel information and individual meters. Together, they provide immediate readout of levels and rapid access to the main parameters of the mix.

The Touch-and-Turn system makes it easy to control on-screen parameters by linking the physical encoders directly to the functions selected in the LV1 software. This interaction considerably speeds up adjustments during sound checks or live performances, where rapid intervention is essential.

Each channel has dedicated RGB backlit Select, Mute and Solo controls for improved readability on stage or in the control room. Eight layer buttons let you navigate quickly between different banks of channels, while eight utility buttons and a dedicated tempo pad complete the surface's ergonomic layout.

The eMotion LV1 Control also incorporates 16+2 customisable user keys, allowing specific functions to be assigned according to the needs of the mix. This flexibility is particularly useful for complex live set-ups requiring rapid access to certain scenes, snapshots or specific processing.

Connection to the LV1 system is simply via a single USB port, making it easy to integrate into Waves modular set-ups. The surface also features an integrated universal power supply and a dedicated XLR4 connection for a 12V gooseneck lamp.

Thanks to its robust chassis and accessory mounting threads, the Waves eMotion LV1 Control can be integrated into both fixed control rooms and mobile racks for touring and events.
