NEW CROSSOVER DESIGN
Delta-X models feature a new crossover design and construction.

Thanks to new component positioning and reinforcements, the crossover's sensitive electronics have been redesigned to improve long-term performance and reliability, even at the highest volumes.

BI-AMP AND PASSIVE MODES
In BI-AMP mode, two power amplifiers can be used. This gives you the advantage of being able to select the best power amplifier specification for each speaker in the cabinet. In a BI-AMP configuration, an external crossover is used to separate frequencies and split the signal to the dedicated LF and HF amplifier. In this way, each amplifier works only in the given frequency range and feeds the corresponding component in the loudspeaker.

In PASSIVE mode, a single amplifier can be used to power all the transducers in the loudspeaker. The entire frequency range is fed into the loudspeaker and the loudspeaker's internal crossover separates the frequencies, delivering the correct frequencies to the correct loudspeaker. In the example of a 2-way passive loudspeaker, this means that the single amplifier feeds both the HF compression driver and the LF transducer. The internal crossover takes care of frequency and power separation.
