With its understated white finish and robust design, the WORK Athos 6R White meets the needs of permanent audio installations where reliability and visual integration are just as important as acoustic performance. Its understated design allows it to blend seamlessly into environments such as hotels, restaurants, schools, commercial premises, covered terraces, places of worship and public buildings.

This version of the ATHOS R range features a modernised design based on a technical polymer enclosure specially developed to provide long-lasting resistance to external elements. This material replaces the fibreglass used in previous generations and offers excellent resistance to rain, UV radiation, extreme temperatures and airborne particles. Its textured finish, reminiscent of wood, provides an elegant look that makes it easy to integrate into a wide range of architectural settings.

The speaker features a two-way configuration comprising a 6.5-inch woofer fitted with a 1.5-inch voice coil and a 1-inch compression driver with a polymer ring diaphragm. This combination ensures precise vocal reproduction whilst maintaining a balanced musical performance. With a sensitivity of 91 dB, a maximum sound pressure level of 118 dB and a dispersion angle of 80° x 80°, the Athos 6R White ensures uniform coverage, making it ideal for both background music and voice announcements.

Its dual compatibility is a real advantage during installation. It can operate at low impedance (below 8 ohms) or be integrated into a 70 V or 100 V line audio distribution system thanks to its built-in transformer. Supplied with a U-shaped mounting bracket, it can be easily installed on a wall with precise adjustment of the orientation. Optional SPB 20 and SPB 22 brackets are also available to meet specific installation requirements. Finally, its IP54 protection rating, steel grille with water-repellent fabric and robust construction ensure reliable, long-term operation.
