Presentation
The WORK IC 6520/54 has been designed for facilities where the broadcast of emergency messages must remain completely reliable in all circumstances. Compliant with the EN 54-24 standard, this loudspeaker meets the specific requirements of voice alarm systems and can be used in fire safety installations requiring clear broadcast of evacuation instructions.
Its 6.5-inch loudspeaker delivers balanced reproduction of speech frequencies whilst maintaining sound quality suitable for public address applications. Thanks to its built-in transformer, the loudspeaker can operate on 70 or 100 V networks with several selectable power levels, allowing the sound coverage to be precisely adjusted to suit the building’s layout.
The enclosure is constructed from 5VB flame-retardant plastic, which helps to limit the spread of fire-related effects. The inclusion of a fire-resistant dome further enhances the unit’s protection and helps to maintain the continuity of the safety system.
With its compact design and spring-loaded mounting system, the IC 6520/54 is easy to install in suspended ceilings. It is a suitable solution for environments such as offices, shopping centres, schools, hotels or public spaces, where regulatory compliance must be combined with uniform sound distribution.
