With the MINO 10 E2, we’re clearly moving up a gear in the range. The aim is no longer simply to deliver clean sound in a controlled space, but to maintain a solid sound foundation in larger venues, or in installations where the listening level can vary significantly depending on usage.

The switch to a 10-inch woofer is immediately noticeable in the overall sound quality. The lower end of the spectrum gains richness and depth, without becoming muddy or overpowering. The 1.3-inch compression driver takes over to maintain good speech intelligibility, which remains essential in mixed environments where speech and music coexist.

With 300 W RMS and 600 W peak power at 8 ohms, this loudspeaker has a comfortable headroom. It handles dynamic variations with ease, making it a sensible choice for venues where the content being played is not always fully under control. The focus is on consistency rather than a show of sound power.

The dispersion pattern is also optimised for larger spaces, with a coverage angle of 70° x 100°. This allows for better coverage of certain areas at height or depth, whilst maintaining a degree of control over the sound field. This is not a speaker that simply floods the space indiscriminately, but rather a tool that structures sound distribution in more complex environments.

The high-density fibre cabinet continues to fulfil its role of providing mechanical and acoustic stabilisation. It minimises unwanted resonances and helps maintain a clean sound signature, even when the loudspeaker is pushed to its limits. The multiple M8 mounting points allow for flexible installation, whether wall-mounted or suspended, depending on the site’s requirements.
