When sound coverage requirements become more demanding, the WND 8 Black delivers a significant boost in power and efficiency whilst retaining a design tailored for fixed installation. Its dual 8-inch woofer design enables it to deliver superior acoustic energy, with richer reproduction in the bass and lower midrange without compromising vocal clarity.

This design is particularly well-suited to public venues, where a loudspeaker must be able to reproduce both background music and speech with excellent intelligibility. The 1.35-inch compression driver effectively complements the two bass drivers by reproducing high frequencies with precision and maintaining good presence right through to the back rows.

The WND 8 Black also features a rotatable horn, a feature particularly appreciated by system integrators. This design allows the dispersion pattern to be adjusted depending on whether the loudspeaker is installed vertically or horizontally, thus offering greater freedom in system design and coverage that is always tailored to the venue’s layout.

With a power handling capacity of 250 W RMS and 500 W peak, a sensitivity of 96 dB and a maximum SPL of 122 dB, this loudspeaker is capable of effectively providing sound for multi-purpose halls, restaurants, shops, hotels, places of worship and event venues. Its 100° x 50° coverage pattern allows the sound to be focused on the listening area whilst minimising unwanted reflections from surrounding surfaces.

Its MDF cabinet features a highly durable finish suitable for continuous use. The metal grille effectively protects the transducers from impact, whilst the black finish allows for discreet integration into technical environments or spaces where equipment needs to remain out of sight. The U-bracket is available as an option, allowing you to choose the mounting system best suited to each installation.
