The WORK WPE 44 is a digital audio signal processor designed for audiovisual integrators and fixed installations requiring advanced audio stream management in a compact format. With its four balanced analogue inputs and four balanced analogue outputs, it offers great flexibility in processing and distributing audio signals, whilst ensuring excellent immunity to interference thanks to its Euroblock connectors.

Each input features dedicated processing comprising filters, gain control, a mute function and polarity reversal. The processor thus allows the connected sources to be precisely adjusted before they are routed to the outputs. The output section features a comprehensive DSP architecture with equalisation, crossover filters, a weighted summing matrix, delay, compression, limiting and a noise gate to optimise sound reproduction according to the requirements of each installation.

The WPE 44 features an extended bandwidth and 24-bit/48 kHz audio processing, ensuring faithful signal reproduction. Its wide range of available filter types enables precise acoustic corrections, ranging from high-pass and low-pass filters to advanced parametric equalisation, as well as shelving, notch and all-pass filters.

The processor is configured and controlled remotely via Ethernet using the WorkCAD3 software, which provides a comprehensive interface for programming audio parameters. It is also compatible with OSC commands over UDP or RUDP, enabling its integration into third-party control systems or automated environments.
