With the CLP-745 R, Yamaha has confirmed its commitment to offering an upright digital piano with exceptional sound quality.
In addition to the touch of the highly sensitive GrandTouch-S keyboard, Grand Expression Modeling technology offers an incredible reproduction of the almost infinite nuances of grand piano playing.
The timbre varies according to the different presses and speeds, for an authentic, lively playing experience.
To complete this sonic arsenal, VRM (Virtual Resonance Modeling) technology simulates a beautiful acoustic resonance, rich in harmonics. It gives the illusion of playing a real concert grand piano.

The CLP-745 R comes with a wide range of sampled sounds. These include the typical sound renditions of renowned grand pianos such as the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial. High-quality recordings have been made to reproduce their sonic signature as closely as possible.
These technologies are omnipresent when listening through headphones, thanks to binaural sampling. Performed on the models mentioned above, it offers breathtaking spatial sound and envelops the user in a very high quality sound bubble.

The amplification system, speakers and Bluetooth connection enable pianists to listen to and play along to their favourite tracks. The wireless connection also lets you control the piano's configuration via the Smart Pianist application.

Finally, like all good digital pianos, the CLP745R lets users record up to 16 tracks at the touch of a button on the console.
Tracks are stored in the internal memory in MIDI format, but you can also use a USB stick and record in WAV format. This allows you to use your tracks on a computer with software that supports this format.
