Yamaha's RLS1455 Recording Custom Stainless Steel 14'' x 5.5'' snare features a 1.2mm-thick body with 45° edges, moulded hoops and an outer ring for a precise, well-defined sound. Developed with the participation of Steve Gadd, this initiative offers two types of tone: one with 20 strands and one with 10 strands, allowing you to adapt the response according to your choices. Thanks to its Q-type trigger, the device offers smooth, silent operation, suitable for both studio sessions and live concerts.

Made for drummers looking for precision, Yamaha's RLS1455 Recording Custom Stainless Steel 14'' x 5.5'' delivers a clean, balanced response. With its 1.2 mm steel barrel, this snare delivers a clear attack and controlled sustain, well suited to studio or live situations where definition is paramount.

The 14" x 5.5" format allows for great versatility, giving you enough depth for powerful rimshots, and enough responsiveness for detailed ghost notes. The 45° chamfers contribute to precise contact between the skin and the barrel, enhancing the articulation of the sound.

Fitted with 2.3 mm Dyna Hoop hoops, it ensures good tuning stability while retaining a natural playing feel. The 20-strand carbon steel strings add finesse to the sound, while the Yamaha Q-type trigger ensures smooth, reliable tuning.

With its Hairline Clear finish and Remo Ambassador heads, this snare drum is the perfect addition to a modern, versatile set.
