Yamaha introduces the RRS1465 Recording Custom Brass 14" x 6.5", a brass snare designed for strength and versatility. Its deep, light and resonant tones integrate easily with a variety of drum styles. Developed in partnership with Steve Gadd, the snare uses the latest Yamaha innovations to deliver precise, rich and controlled sounds, perfect for musicians looking for performance and outstanding sound quality.

With the RRS1465 Recording Custom Brass 14" x 6.5", Yamaha offers a snare drum that puts the emphasis on feel. The 1.2 mm aluminium body ensures immediate response under the sticks, with just the right amount of warmth to balance it all out.

Thanks to its 45° bevels, the skin reacts consistently, even on the lightest of strokes. The 2.3 mm Dyna Hoop rings provide support without restricting bounce, for a pleasant, even feel. The 25-strand carbon steel string extends the range of nuances, while remaining firmly in place thanks to the Yamaha Q-Type release system.

The Hairline Clear finish enhances the sobriety of the raw metal, complemented by discreet chrome fittings. Supplied with Remo Ambassador heads, it's ready to play, with no surprises in terms of sound quality. With its 6.5" depth, this snare offers a little more body and projection. An option to consider for drummers who prefer a lively instrument that responds naturally to every intention.
