  • CRUNCH: light Tone e and shiny with a slight saturation characteristic of a British combo amplifier
  • CLEAN: clear tone and rich features of an American combo amplifier
  • SOLID: clear tone of a transistor amplifier
  • 5 types of lamps:
  • 6V6: deliver distortion even at a low volume

  • 6L6GC: Very common in "American" amps, very present in the media
  • EL34 Very present in the upper midrange.
  • General characteristics:
  • surprisingly compact and lightweight Preamplifier providing sound and professional tone and a volume, a sound pressure level, and dynamic usually found on a tube amplifier.
  • The exclusive Yamaha VCM technology provides a virtual model of the amplification sections and power tubes delivering a wider range of sound combinations to create more detailed and unique tones.
  • Equipped with the same high quality reverb on Yamaha mixing consoles of high quality.
  • The newly developed Class D power amplifier faithfully reproduces the specific operating characteristics of a tube amplifier, allowing you to experience a sound pressure level and a dynamic one amplifier lamps.
  • The THR100HD consists of a dual amplifier that allows you to create sound with two amplifiers from a single preamplifier. This feature is also useful for providing separate amplification for two electric guitars, allowing two people to play simultaneously.
  • A speaker simulator on both LINE OUT and PHONES LINE reproduces the dynamic, aerial tone of a registered speaker in a studio with a microphone, allowing you to enjoy studio quality tone to the signal direct line.
  • The IR data to third types of speakers and microphone can also be used providing an even wider range of combinations speaker / microphone for sound creation.
  • Ability to connect a computer to the USB socket of the amplifier provides access to the following features:
  • Changing the amplifier settings with the publisher "THR HD_H Utility".
  • Updating the firmware of the device. A USB cable sold commercially is required to connect a computer to the amplifier.
The HD THR100 leads the creation and customization of sound at a very high level -a flexibility at home or on stage which could only dream of until now. Preamps that respond like real tube amps, incredible reverbs modeled VCM boosters and impulse responses of downloadable HP simulations, all with a fully analog interface make an amp unusual.

Le son ! J'avais un line 6 hélix lt, je trouvais le son "plat". Avec le yamaha, le son est organique, dynamique. Certes, pas ou peu d'effets mais ce n'est pas grave quand entend le résultat. Bye bye line 6 !
