Zildjian - I Family Trash Crash 17"

The Zildjian I Family Trash Crash 17" has been designed for drummers who like to add more aggressive, textured accents to their playing. With its bright, trashy character, this cymbal develops an explosive attack followed by a rapid decay, helping to punctuate grooves without overloading the sound space.

Thanks to its thin weight, it responds immediately under the sticks with a light, responsive feel. Accents come through easily, whether on breaks, transitions or more energetic passages. This type of crash easily finds its place in modern set-ups, where effects cymbals add more depth and dynamics to the set.

Made from B8 alloy, it retains a beautiful clarity despite its dirtier, drier trashy side. In styles like modern rock, metal, funk, fusion or even certain electro/acoustic worlds, it helps to create interesting contrasts with short, very present accents.

Inspired by the Turkish word Ilham, meaning inspiration, the I Family series has been developed to enable drummers to explore new sound textures with modern, accessible cymbals.
