The Zildjian K Light Ride 22" cymbal belongs to the K family, renowned for its dark, expressive sound. This ride is distinguished by a sound described as smoky, dark and rich in harmonics.
It's thin enough to be crashed without losing definition. In fact, its light weight makes it extremely responsive under the sticks. Thanks to its 22" diameter, it offers a good balance between power and control. Unlike the 24" model, which is deeper and fuller, this version retains a precise, bright attack.
The traditional K hammering, combining large and small marks, contributes to its sonic complexity. What's more, the regular turning typical of Zildjian Ks accentuates the warmth of its tone.
Made from B20 alloy, the cymbal benefits from Zildjian's traditional craftsmanship.
