ARTICLE N° 111401
The Zildjian P0612A crotale is an orchestral percussion instrument tuned to the high A note. Made of bronze, it produces a bright, clear sound. Thanks to its precise tuning, it can be easily integrated into a symphonic ensemble.

It is also known as the "antique cymbal", because its origins date back to Greek and Roman antiquity. Used on its own, it adds a luminous, crystalline touch to a piece. Placed in a complete set of crotales, it can be used to play entire melodies. With this A note, you can accentuate an orchestral passage or create bell-like effects.

Thanks to its B20 alloy, it combines solidity and harmonic richness. This rattlesnake is often played with hard mallets for a brighter sound. However, you can vary the timbre by changing the type of mallet.
