Zoom - LiveTrak L-12

The highly flexible Zoom LiveTrak L-12 is a 12-channel digital mixer and multi-track recorder, well suited to live performances, studio recording, band rehearsals, podcasts and more. This compact mixer has 8 mono channels, each with high-gain XLR/Jack combo mic/line inputs, low-noise mic preamps, +48V phantom power and a compression switch, while the two stereo inputs offer dual jack and RCA sockets. Channels 1-2 also feature Hi-Z inputs for connecting guitars and basses. All channels work with the on-board channel strip, which provides a low-cut filter, 3-band EQ, pan control and FX send to send the signal to the 16 high-quality on-board effects processors with a dedicated EFX Return channel.

The main output uses balanced XLR outputs, while a stereo monitor send is available via two jack outputs. In addition, the Zoom LiveTrack L-12 offers 5 headphone outputs, each with the ability to configure custom mixes. Simply plug in your headphones and adjust the levels to your liking. There are 9 presets so you can instantly recall different configurations and sessions.

The built-in SD recorder can simultaneously record each channel and the stereo signal output from the master fader, for a total of 14 tracks at resolutions of up to 24-bit/96kHz. Files can be easily copied to a computer and used in a DAW. In addition, recording and insert/remove can be performed when the unit is used as a multi-track recorder.

The L-12 can also function as a 14-input, 4-output USB audio interface, allowing you to record directly to your favourite DAW software or iOS devices. Other notable features include 12-segment LED meters on all channels, a built-in metronome and a built-in slate mic for take identification.
