The Zoom PodTrak P8 recorder and editor is a complete, portable solution designed for podcast creators, musicians and audio professionals.
Featuring six XLR microphone inputs with phantom power, it lets you record vocals and instruments with professional quality. Each input has its own volume control via individual faders, as well as mute and on-air buttons for intuitive live control.
PodTrak P8 also offers six headphone outputs, each with its own volume control, allowing each participant to adjust their listening level. A dedicated channel allows a telephone to be connected via a 3.5 mm jack, with a mix-minus function to avoid feedback, ensuring clear, echo-free phone calls.
In addition, it is compatible with Bluetooth audio thanks to the BTA-2 option, making wireless connections even easier.
The device is equipped with a variety of audio processing features, including automatic noise reduction, compressor/de-esser, limiter, high-pass filter and tone controls, providing clean, balanced recordings. Nine assignable sound pads in four banks make it easy to trigger sound effects, with 13 tones included to enrich your productions.
Built-in sound editing and the ability to record the final mix or separate tracks to SD, SDHC and SDXC cards up to 512GB offer maximum flexibility. Files can be recorded in WAV 16-bit/44.1 kHz or MP3 format, depending on the needs of the project.
The PodTrak P8 also features a USB-C connector, allowing compatibility with iOS devices via an Apple Lightning to USB camera adapter. In USB audio interface mode, it offers 13 inputs and 2 outputs, transforming your recorder into a complete audio interface.
Running on four AA batteries for up to two hours, or powered via USB or the included Zoom AD-14 power adapter, the PodTrak P8 is ideal for use in the studio or on the move.
