Allen & Heath - DX164-W
The Allen & Heath device is a built-in stage box for the AHM-64, dLive, Avantis and SQ mixing systems. It offers XLR input and output options with phantom power as well as two Neutrik Ethercon DX Link connectors for transporting digital audio and control signals. The sturdy steel chassis allows for various mounting options with a flush-mount or wall-mount option.
Presentation
This remote audio module offers 16 XLR inputs with phantom power and 4 XLR outputs.
Two Neutrik Ethercon DX Link connectors transport digital audio signals.
The DX164-W can operate in redundant or cascade mode using a mechanical switch. In redundant mode, it provides connection to a Mixrack or dLive Class S surface. In cascade mode, it allows daisy chaining of two units with a single cable connection to dLive, Avantis, SQ or AHM-64 systems.
The Ethernet protocol allows remote preamp control, and all mic preamps are recallable via the digital mixing system. The unit's firmware automatically updates or downgrades when connected to the digital mixing system.
The remote audio rack has a sturdy steel chassis and is designed to be mounted in a variety of ways, including in a NEMA12x12" enclosure, horizontally or vertically, flush or straight mounting.
