Altamira - M01 RN + Étui

The Altamira M01 RN is in the tradition of Selmer-Maccaferri-style guitars, a format that has become a staple of gypsy jazz. Popularised by Django Reinhardt, this type of instrument left its mark on the history of acoustic jazz with its ability to project a powerful, clear, percussive sound without amplification.

This model takes up that philosophy with a construction designed for rhythmic playing and the fast phrases typical of gypsy swing. The long 670 mm scale creates greater string tension, giving a clean attack and great precision in both pompe playing and solos.
