The Altamira M01F EN Gloss recaptures the spirit of the great gypsy guitars inspired by the Selmer-Maccaferri models, with a brighter appearance thanks to its high-gloss finish. Its F-shaped soundholes reinforce this highly recognisable visual identity, and recall the instruments that marked the history of Gypsy jazz.

Designed for lively, dynamic acoustic playing, this guitar develops a rapid response and a feeling of closeness to each note. This is the character that Gypsy swing is all about: chords that stand out clearly, a precise attack and melodies that retain their presence without becoming aggressive.

The solid European spruce top contributes to this responsiveness with a clear, immediate sound. The laminated Indian rosewood back and sides add depth, while retaining good definition in the rhythm section.
