With the MRC, navigate your multichannel monitoring with confidence:
Designed for a smooth monitoring workflow, with a tactile feel.
Antelope Audio offers the keys to easy immersive mixing:
Antelope Audio's monitoring system supports over 23 audio formats, from stereo to Dolby Atmos 9.1.6, and offers precise speaker and room calibration tools, such as an 8-band EQ per channel and delay offset. With intuitive controls, a color-coded layout and a quick preset recall function, this ecosystem is the ideal choice for surround and immersive audio production.
The MRC controller completes the system with simplified, tactile controls, making it the key to effortless advanced monitoring.
Key features:
- Speaker layout buttons enable Solo and Mute functions for each individual speaker. Useful for isolating individual channels or entire channel groups to monitor the spatialization and position of elements in the mix.
- Bass management mirrors the Bass Management On/Off switch on the control panel. It is used to check whether the LFE channel is reproducing the entire low-frequency content of the mix or only the signal intended for it.
- Stereo monitoring output: Allows you to switch between controlling the surround/immersive audio monitoring level and the level of the stereo monitoring output on the rear of the interface.
- Function button (FN): Resets all currently active mute states on the speakers. Can also be used as a power LED. Hold down during power-up to enter boot mode to reinstall the firmware.
- Session Presets A-E: Quick-recall preset buttons for all interface settings, including signal routing, audio format switching, output levels, speaker calibration, effects processing, or live mix settings. Particularly useful for easily switching between different input sources or monitoring outputs. Handy for quick comparisons between binaural, surround, or Atmos mixes.
- Press the Solo Mode button to solo that channel only. Holding it down enters Solo Mix mode (LED flashes) - the first channel pressed is soloed, each additional channel pressed is added to the solo mix.
- Dim: Conveniently positioned next to the large volume knob, this button quickly reduces the currently selected output level by -20 dB.
- Master Rotary Encoder: Control output volume using the rotary knob for stereo or surround/immersive audio monitoring outputs. Press to mute or unmute the current output.
