In September 2023, Ashdown launched the Pro-DI pedal. It is designed for touring bassists looking for robustness and simplicity. Equipped with a 5-band EQ with the Ashdown Shape function, it allows great sonic flexibility. The emulated tube overdrive guarantees a powerful sound. The input and output settings are optimized by a precise VU meter. Thanks to an isolated D.I output and a pad adaptable to all basses, this reference is a reliable, solid and easy to repair tool.

Presentation
The Ashdown Pro-DI is a high-quality bass preamp pedal. It is optimized for the demands of touring bassists.
It features an emulated tube overdrive with mix and drive level controls. It allows activation without loss of volume or gain. The input and output controls, coupled with the Ashdown VU Meter, ensure precise level balancing for a unified output.
This reference is equipped with an input sensitivity pad for passive and active instruments, with a -3 dB cutoff, ideal for active basses.
It also has a transformer-isolated DI output that guarantees a balanced output for the front of house or a room monitor. It has a ground lift option to avoid ground loops. A link output allows you to connect another room monitor or a room output. Both outputs are post-EQ and set to a nominal output of 0 dB.
A line input with dedicated mix control allows you to play along with an audio device or feed a monitor mix into your headphones. The pedal operates on a 9 volt (45 mA) power supply, center pin negative, power supply not included.
