The Austrian Audio OD505 WL1 has been designed for artists and technicians who want to retain the sonic personality and precision of the OD505 while moving to a wireless system.

This active dynamic capsule takes the architecture and philosophy of the wired model and adapts it to the constraints and requirements of professional HF systems.

At the heart of the OD505 WL1 is the same acoustic approach that made the OD505 such a success: an active dynamic capsule offering a high output level and a detailed response close to that of a condenser microphone.

Thanks to on-board electronics powered directly by the wireless transmitter, the capsule delivers a stable, coherent signal, regardless of load variations or radio transmission length.

The supercardioid polar pattern has been chosen to respond to the most complex stage conditions. It concentrates the pick-up on the voice, while effectively reducing feedback, ambient noise and the risk of feedback.

This control of directionality is particularly appreciated on busy stages, close to powerful drums, amps or monitors.

The Austrian Audio sound signature remains intact on the HF link. The sound is natural, open and intelligible, with excellent articulation in the midrange and a controlled presence in the treble.
