The Austrian Audio OC18 Dual Set Plus is a complete high-end stereo kit featuring two matched large-diaphragm cardioid condenser microphones designed and handcrafted in Vienna, Austria. Each microphone uses a precise ceramic capsule inspired by the manufacturer's OC18 technology, ensuring a neutral frequency response and detailed pick-up throughout the 20 Hz-20 kHz band, with perfect coherence between the two units for exceptional stereo pick-up, perfect for ORTF, XY or spaced-pair techniques.
Thanks to a selectable high-pass filter (40 Hz, 80 Hz, 160 Hz) and analogue attenuators (-10 dB, -20 dB), this duo handles both delicate sources and high SPL levels without distortion. The cardioid design and low self-noise guarantee clear reproduction for vocals, acoustic instruments, drum overheads or orchestral ensembles. The Dual Set Plus pack comes complete with shockmounts, windscreens, mic clips, an SB1 stereo bar and a sturdy carrying case, making it a ready-to-use solution for studio, broadcast or live use.
