OPTO-COMPRESSOR
The design of the opto-compressor section is based on a minimum circuit path with two lamps triodes Class A. The optical attenuator acts as a passive level controller. A full dynamic control can be performed, ranging from a slight compression limiter "hard-knee" with the threshold controls (threshold), compression ratio (ratio), attack and release, everything on the displayed the large VU meter.
Control of high and low frequencies can be made via a "EQ to sidechain" switch. The EQ may be set before or after the opto-compressor by means of a switch on the front panel. Two VT SP-737 can be connected via a cable to the rear face to a stereo management.
6 BANDS EQUALISER
The VT-747SP equalizer utilizes 100% discrete transistors, Class A, high voltage, for optimal sound performance. The equalizer has all the characteristics of its entirely passive design. Beach fréauences, Q and amplitude have been carefully chosen for each band to provide a natural harmonic balance and largest phase linearity, while offering simple and effective controls. The EQ can be placed pre or post the compressor.

The VT-747SP features TSP option, which allows to choose between his "lamps" and his "transistors" Class A in the sections of the opto compressor and primary output stages.
