AVID - Pro Tools Sync X

AVID Pro Tools Sync X is a high-end sync interface designed for the most demanding audio post-production environments. The system allows multiple Pro Tools Satellite Link workstations working simultaneously on dialogue, music and sound effects to be synchronised without any perceptible time drift. This stability ensures almost perfect sample-accurate alignment, even in complex immersive or cinema mixing set-ups.

Sync X supports all professional synchronisation and timecode standards. It is compatible with Word Clock, Loop Sync, AES3, LTC, Serial Timecode, Bi-Phase/Tach as well as SD and HD video references. Its built-in video generator also enables video reference signals to be distributed directly to multiple devices without the need for additional external equipment.

Direct integration with Pro Tools Ultimate greatly simplifies the management of synchronisation parameters. Clock sources, video references, pull up/pull down and speed settings can be controlled directly from the software. A 9-pin machine control connection also allows control of external video equipment.
