Axel Technology - Oxygen 3000 Plus 8 Fader 1A Dante

The Axel Technology Oxygen 3000 Plus 8 Fader 1A Dante 16 console, designed for radio control rooms seeking to centralise their equipment around a digital audio infrastructure, combines an 8-fader control surface with an audio I/O card and a 16 × 16 Dante interface.

The console supports up to five microphones with Automix, simplifying the management of programmes featuring multiple speakers. The microphone inputs feature comprehensive processing with a 5-band parametric equaliser, compressor, expander, AutoFader and ducking.

Its digital architecture also offers a 50 × 50 routing matrix, four main buses plus PFL, and a latency of less than 0.7 ms. Different sources can be routed to the outputs according to the control room’s requirements, including the option to create N-1 sends.

The inclusion of 16 × 16 Dante enables the console to be integrated directly into an audio-over-IP network. The interface also supports the AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110-30 protocols, facilitating its integration into larger broadcast infrastructures.

The Oxygen 3000 Plus also features a telephone hybrid, a Telco interface, Bluetooth for calls or A2DP audio streaming, two stereo USB interfaces, and a built-in audio streaming system. The console can therefore handle both traditional radio station sources and feeds from computers and IP networks.

The control surface combines physical controls, customisable RGB keys and several IPS TFT screens. Its central 7-inch main screen centralises configuration, whilst the displays associated with the faders provide access to channel level, source and status information.

Oxygen Remoter allows you to access the console’s main functions from a computer and add up to 8 virtual faders. The web interface provides additional remote configuration, backup and maintenance functions.
