The 10MTB26 8 Ohm Recone Kit is one of a range of maintenance solutions developed by B&C Speakers to ensure the complete refurbishment of its coaxial loudspeakers, while strictly preserving their original performance.
Specifically designed for the 10MTB26, this kit restores the moving transducer assembly after wear or damage, without compromising electroacoustic performance.
The use of an original recone kit is essential to preserve the overall balance of the loudspeaker. As the 10MTB26 is a coaxial model, the coherence between the bass/midrange and high-frequency sections depends on precise mechanical and electrical parameters.
This kit complies with all the specifications defined by the manufacturer, guaranteeing faithful reproduction in terms of frequency response, efficiency and power handling, identical to that of a new loudspeaker.
The 8 ohm version ensures direct compatibility with speakers and systems designed around the 10MTB26. After rewiring, the loudspeaker can be reinstalled in its original environment without modifying the filtering, or adjusting the level or load seen by the amplification.
