Presentation
In systems where the 12NW100 is used, mechanical stability and power handling are important criteria. When the moving parts of the loudspeaker start to tire, the impact is felt as much in the dynamics as in the definition of the bass and midrange. This 12NW100 4 Ohm recabling kit restores these characteristics without modifying the initial behaviour of the loudspeaker.
Rather than replacing the entire transducer, this solution retains the original magnetisation, chassis and magnetic geometry. This ensures that the loudspeakers fitted continue to offer the same spectral performance, which is essential when several loudspeakers need to operate coherently within a sound system. The continuity of timbre and dynamic response is therefore preserved.
Installation is based on precise mechanical alignment. Careful re-centring of the voice coil in the air gap, even fixing of the suspension and neat fitting of the cover ensure that the movement is linear. Once back in place, the assembly regains its ability to handle high pressure levels without excessive distortion or loss of transient control.
This kit is particularly suited to professional fleets, service providers or venues where continuity of sound is an issue. It gives a new lease of life to an essential component, without compromising on performance.
