The 8 Ohm 12TBX100 is often used in systems where the bass must be solid, stable and uncoloured, whether in live sound or fixed installation. Over time, the diaphragm and suspension can lose their rigidity or elasticity, resulting in a drop in output and less controlled reproduction. The 12TBX100 8 Ohm recabling kit is the tool designed by B&C Speakers to precisely restore the mechanical and acoustic characteristics of this loudspeaker.
The kit uses the same materials, cone profiles and voice coil as the original. This ensures that, even after intervention, the loudspeaker fits into an existing assembly without audible difference, which is essential in multi-box configurations and aligned systems. Nothing is approximated: moving mass, suspension tension, cone geometry and voice coil ventilation are respected to maintain the control and dynamic response for which the model is renowned.
Opting for this kit is often more economical than replacing the complete loudspeaker, while preserving its sonic identity. Once carefully reassembled, the 12TBX100 regains its ability to handle high levels, maintain impact in transients, and deliver clean, tight bass, even at high power.
