The B&C Speakers 14NDL88 4 Ohm is a 14-inch speaker designed to offer high efficiency and extended response in the low and mid frequencies.
With an AES power of 1400 W, it relies on a neodymium magnet for reduced weight. Its 88 mm aluminum voice coil, combined with an exponential cone treated to be waterproof, allows it to provide a deep bass output, while responding effectively in the frequency range of 45 Hz to 3 kHz.
This driver is particularly suitable for two-way configurations, offering perfect integration in compact speakers, while allowing a midrange extension that can often be lacking on models of this size.
The design of this speaker incorporates elements that improve both durability and performance. Its Qts of 0.23 and its Xmax of 8 mm ensure excellent excursion and linearity in the movement of the cone, allowing for more controlled bass and minimal distortion.
The double silicone Spider also offers greater mechanical stability, and the triple roller suspension allows for better dynamic response, especially in high volume applications.
The 4 ohm impedance is ideal for use with amps that deliver moderate to high power, and the push button connectors allow for quick and easy installation.
