B&C Speakers - 15FW76 4 Ohm Recone Kit

The 15FW76 is appreciated for its responsiveness and control in the low frequency range. When a dome dents, a suspension tires or a voice coil rubs, there's no need to replace the whole speaker: this 4 ohm re-bonding kit allows you to start again on a sound footing, with parts tuned to the parameters of the original model. The advantage is twofold: it preserves the coherence of the existing system and avoids response mismatches between paired loudspeakers.

Each element of the kit has been selected to achieve the expected mobile mass, rigidity and elasticity, essential conditions for preserving the efficiency, useful excursion and transient behaviour of the 15FW76. In practice, careful centring of the coil in the air gap using shims is the key to silent, long-lasting results. Once the alignment has been validated, gluing is carried out cleanly, without excess, respecting the setting times recommended by the workshop.
