The 15PZB100 8 Ohm Recone Kit has been designed to provide a reliable and long-lasting repair of the B&C 15PZB100 loudspeaker, often used in PA systems where bass must be present, robust and stable at high levels. When a cone or suspension shows signs of fatigue, restoring only the defective element can lead to a loss of acoustic coherence. The principle of the complete kit, on the other hand, ensures a return to the original performance, by replacing all the essential mechanical elements in perfect continuity.
In particular, the kit includes a cone specific to the profile of the 15PZB100 model, with adapted treatment, the suspension, the spider, as well as the auxiliary elements necessary for alignment and assembly. Their assembly has been designed to reproduce the exact mechanical and acoustic characteristics of the loudspeaker: the elasticity of the suspension, the rigidity of the cone, the alignment of the voice coil in the air gap - everything has been calibrated to reproduce the behaviour predicted by the manufacturer.
Restoration using a recone kit is particularly interesting when you want to extend the life of a system without having to replace the entire loudspeaker. This process ensures sound uniformity within a group of loudspeakers, which is often crucial for services or fixed installations.
