Presentation
The 320HLX 8 Ohm Recone Kit is one of the maintenance solutions offered by B&C Speakers to extend the life of their bass and low-midrange drivers. Developed specifically for the 320HLX model, this kit enables a transducer to be restored to perfect working order while strictly preserving its original mechanical, electrical and acoustic parameters.
The principle of re-branding with an original kit is based on faithfully reproducing the original behaviour of the loudspeaker. By replacing all the moving parts with components conforming to B&C Speakers specifications, the 320HLX recovers its frequency response, efficiency and power handling as originally designed. This approach avoids the sonic drift often experienced with non-adapted or generic parts.
The 8 ohm version guarantees direct compatibility with existing systems, with no impact on filtering or on the load seen by the amplification. The reconditioned loudspeaker can therefore be reintegrated into a loudspeaker or multi-way system without the need for additional adjustment, which is particularly important in installations where several transducers need to remain perfectly homogeneous.
