The B&C Speakers 5MDN38 8 Ohm Recone Kit has been designed to restore the vitality of the 5MDN38 loudspeaker without altering its sonic character. Each component of this kit uses the same dimensions, materials and tolerances as the original, guaranteeing perfect compatibility and a faithful reproduction of the original performance.
The kit includes the radial cone, silicone suspension, bonnet, foam gasket, centring shims and heat-shrink tubing. Thanks to this precise design, reassembly is carried out without major difficulty, while ensuring optimum mechanical strength and linearity of movement. Once glued (glue not supplied), the transducer regains its performance, response speed and tonal balance.
This kit is particularly suited to professional environments where consistency of sound and reliability are essential. The RCK005MDN388 is a cost-effective alternative to replacing the entire loudspeaker, effectively extending the life of the equipment while maintaining B&C quality.
