B&C Speakers - 6PEV13 8 Ohm

The 6PEV13 8 Ohm continues the tradition of professional midrange drivers developed by B&C Speakers for systems requiring clear, articulate and stable reproduction, even at high sound pressure levels. Designed for PA systems, multi-channel systems and touring or installation applications, this transducer is optimised to provide effective coverage of the critical midrange zone, between 150 Hz and 8 kHz.

Its high sensitivity of 99dB provides excellent output without overloading the amplification, a valuable asset in high-density passive or active systems. The 38mm aluminium voice coil ensures excellent heat dissipation, contributing to the reliability of the loudspeaker during prolonged use at high levels. Combined with a fibreglass voice coil support, it ensures good mechanical and thermal stability.

The ferrite motor generates a flux density of 1.4 tesla, ensuring precise control of the diaphragm and rapid response to transients. The untreated exponential cone promotes natural, detailed midrange reproduction, while the flat suspension and single spider provide linear behaviour perfectly suited to midrange frequencies.

Thanks to its small footprint and compact dimensions, the 6PEV13 can be easily integrated into space-saving loudspeakers, compact line arrays or coaxial systems dedicated to the midrange.
