The 6FHX51 8 Ohm Recone Kit from B&C Speakers is a complete solution for restoring a 6FHX51 coaxial driver that has suffered mechanical or thermal failure, without having to replace the entire speaker. This recone kit is specifically designed to match the technical specifications of this 6.5" model, with 8 Ohm impedance, to guarantee an acoustic result identical to the original.
The driver in question is a compact two-way model, used in small-format two-way speakers. Its bass section is based on a 51 mm voice coil (copper on Kapton support) and covers a bandwidth of 85 Hz to 18,000 Hz, while the high-frequency driver has a polyester membrane, a 25 mm voice coil and offers very high sensitivity (108.5 dB). The recone kit allows both the bass and treble to be restored, while retaining the coherence of the coaxial system and its 70° directivity.
Every component supplied in this kit complies with B&C manufacturing tolerances: cone, spider, diaphragm, HF dome, suspension, braided wire, voice coil, all compatible with the original model's ferrite and neodymium magnets.
